Join us for interactive discussions and activities related to cultural competence, led by AaEA member Molly Fraiser. We will cover the basics of being a culturally competent individual/professional and how it relates to the field of evaluation. We will also look deeper at our own cultural identity and experiences that have shaped that identity.
Molly Fraiser, LMSW, CP, is the Program Coordinator at GUIDE, Inc., which involves planning, implementing and evaluating various environmental strategies to prevent underage drinking and other substance use and abuse in Gwinnett County. Molly earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Georgia State University in May 2013 and is a Licensed Master Social Worker. Molly is from Mississippi, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Mississippi College while also gaining experience in the field of mental health and domestic violence. Since then, she has had various experiences working in the community, including drug prevention, youth development, program development and evaluation, collaboration, advocacy, fundraising and outreach.
AaEA will provide coffee, tea, and desserts.
