Beer and Evaluation 8/17/2016
Join AaEA and CDC Branch Chief Michael Schooley for a fun night of real-world application of the CDC Evaluation Framework…using beer! The event will include a presentation by Michael relating beer to evaluation, a beer tasting/rating session, and of course, socializing and networking. We ask that attendees bring beer to share (can also be cider or root beer) for the tasting/rating session. Raffle tickets will be awarded to each attendees that brings beer and one lucky attendee will go home with a prize at the end of the night.
Michael Schooley, MPH has served as Branch Chief in the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention, Applied Research and Evaluation Branch since 2006. His areas of professional expertise include chronic disease prevention and health promotion; program evaluation, including identifying and using indicators for program planning, improvement, evaluation, and accountability; and management and facilitation.
Food will be available for purchase from We Suki Suki, Poco Pomodoro, and ROTI. Street parking is available for free near the venue. There is also a small parking lot behind the building, but it will fill up quickly. Let us know you are coming. Register here: http://beerandevaluation.eventbrite.com.
The event is free for AaEA members; and $5 for non-members.
