An Evening with AEA President John Gargani 6/28/2016
Tuesday, June 28, 2016 6PM – 9 PM
5 Seasons Brewing
5600 Roswell Road
Sandy Springs, GA 30342
Join AaEA for an evening with AEA’s President John Gargani as he engages us in a conversation about “Evaluation, design, professionalization, and designing the profession of evaluation.” John will be in town to teach at the AEA Summer Institute, and like last year, we expect to host many of its attendees and instructors at our event. We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to engage in stimulating discussion about ideas circulating during AEA’s Summer Institute and mingle with fellow evaluators from across the country.
John is president of Gargani + Co. He has a particular interest in understanding how the many groups working to measure social value intersect with those of us who call ourselves “program evaluators.” He’s a forward-thinking leader whose 2012 blog (https://evalblog.com/2012/01/30/the-future-of-evaluation-10-predictions/) blog inspired an AaEA social.
The event is free for AaEA members; $15 for non-members; $10 for students/interns/fellows. Appetizers will be served and all attendees receive one drink ticket. Cash bar available.
Not yet a member? Join AaEA at the event or at www.atl-eval.org ($40 for professionals and $25 for students, interns, and fellows)
